When Kirstyn “Kiki” Smith walks into PF Chang’s and the servers spot her using a red-and-white cane, they have just the thing to accommodate her.
• When she takes her seat, her server will plop a weighty book in front of her: the Braille menu.
• The practical reality is that with her limited use of Braille, it would take her ages to peruse it. “I’ll be ready (to order) by Christmas,” she said with a laugh.
