Rochester-area teacher held on child porn charges

“A Rochester-area teacher is facing child pornography charges and is accused of having hundreds of images of child ponography on his computer, the U.S Attorney’s Office announced this week.

Kevin Burns, 45, of Irondequoit, was charged with receipt and possession of child pornography, according to federal prosecutors.

The investigation launched in October 2023 when it was reported to New York State Police from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone in the Rochester area was uploading child pornography from the Internet.”
