Newly Released Mathematics Resource: The NYS Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards Glossary for Grades PreK-8

NYSED’s Office of Curriculum and Instruction has released a new PK – 8 mathematics glossary as an optional mathematics resource designed to provide support to districts with the creation or revision of units of instruction aligned to the NYS Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards.

This non-exhaustive glossary clarifies mathematical terms used by the New York State Education Department and is a reference for PK – grade 8 teachers of mathematical content.
