As of 3/1/2022, the following prices are in effect. These fees include the following:

• Administrative fee to process Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) – $150/each
• Committee on Special Education Meeting (CSE) – $200/hour
• Committee on Special Education Meeting (CSE) Travel – $150/hour
• Court/IEE Testimony – $300/hour
• Educational Consultation – $150/hour, $100/half hour
  • Education Consultation – Reduced or Free Lunch – $90/each
  • Education Consultation – Military Discount – $135/each
  • Education Consultation – College Student w/ Financial Aid – $135/each
• Educational Evaluation (Standard)- $800 each
  • Education Evaluation – Reduced or Free Lunch – $460/each

Believe it or not, the federal government is trying to help. As of Jan. 1, 2019 hospitals are required to post on their websites what they charge for services and procedures. The new rule comes from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, which is trying to promote price transparency.

None of the area Hospitals offer Educational Evaluations. Due to this, the price of other similar evaluations, including Neuropsychological testing and Psychological Evaluations are listed here for each hospital as one way to compare somewhat similar services.

However, the services provided at the Hospitals are medical services and the services offered through DeMarle INC are educational services.

RGH

• RGH – Initial Preventative E/M, New Patient, Adolescent – $340.34
• RGH – NeuroPsychological Testing per hour face-to-face with patient report – $891.17

A similar evaluation at RGH would cost ($340.34 + ($891.17 x 3.5)=$3460.44) or ($340.34 +($493.65 x 3.5) = $2068.12). These fees, however, do not include the one hour interpretive session.

• Unity – NeuroPsychological Testing per hour face-to-face with patient report – $777
• Unity – Psychological Testing per hour of the Psychologist’s/Physician’s Time, both face-to-face Time – $431

A similar evaluation at Unity would cost ($110 + ($777 x 3.5) = $2829.5) or ($110 + ($431 x 3.5) = $1618.5). These fees, however, do not include the one hour interpretive session.
