The Considerations for Teachers Providing Distance Learning to Students with Disabilities brief, produced by WestEd as part of a collection of Crisis Response Resources, provides guidance and resources to help educators support students with disabilities — ranging from mild to low-incidence— through distance learning prompted by the COVID-19 crisis. The brief helps teachers consider key areas that are imperative to teaching and learning for students with disabilities: supportive distance teaching and learning environment, student engagement, lesson design and instructional resources, social-emotional support, and executive function capacity.
