Some Regents exams taken by Hilton High School students were accidentally discarded before they were scored, according to Hilton Central School District.
Thirty-one students were impacted – mostly 11th grade students – and will be given credit for the course and chemistry exam, said district spokeswoman Grace Scism. None of the students are required to retake the exam, but may do so if they choose. Scism said that the students took the exam last Friday.
The incident will not impact graduation for these students, she said. All affected families were notified by district administrators.
